A robbery suspect hinted he had a weapon and attempted to rob a 26-year-old man from his backpack in the 700 block of Washington Street shortly after midnight Friday. But police say the victim reached into his backpack, pulled out a chef’s knife and the suspect fled.
A burglar entered an unlocked garage in the 1500 block of Colfax Street and stole a Schwinn mountain bike between 1 p.m. Wednesday and noon Thursday.
Someone broke into a residence on the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue between 6:30 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. Wednesday and stole a wallet.
