Bon Appétit salutes Bandit Pâtisserie for its original and delicious pastries

These mouth-watering pastries have impressed us all here in Birmingham, now they are on the pages of Bon Appétit Magazine (BA). Yes, you have read the title well. One of Birmingham’s favorite bakeries, Bandit Pâtisserie, was recently featured in their “11 recipes for people (us, you) who lack restaurants” listing. Read on for more details on these delicious treats.

Restaurants and diners have recovered from the closures, but not all are open. This includes the exceptional bakery, Bandit Pâtisserie. Bandit owners are reopening a new location on First Avenue North this month. However, they are not yet open.

I know what you are thinking: how do we get our hands on these goodies? This question inspired Bon Appetit to share how we could make our favorite meals at home. The article was about BA staff eager to visit their favorite restaurants to sample these irresistible meals and desserts.

They revealed the recipe for some must-have dishes from restaurants across the country so you can enjoy your daydreams in real time, at home.

BA Editor-in-Chief Sonia Chopra shouted Bandit’s Chocolate Almond Pear Pie, what they call a decadent chocolate treat. She also mentioned her early thoughts when she first tried the pie in the article.

“One of my best friends recently moved to Alabama and for months she would send me pictures of awesome pastries from Bandit Patisserie in Birmingham. The bakery was closed for my first two visits but the third time was a charm. I fell in love with delicate pastries, like this incredible pear and chocolate pie. I want to come back every season to enjoy the full range of fruit (is strawberry season still?). ”

Try to do it yourself with the full recipe, but you didn’t really get it until you tried it at Bandit. They will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday from November 14.
