Catalina’s bakery opens in Huntington

Serve cookies, cakes, pies and pastries for breakfast.

With many proven Long Island bakeries that have recently closed, it’s a pleasant surprise to see Catalina’s bakery opened in Huntington recently.

The Latinix-owned boutique offers a menu of cookies ($ 3), cupcakes ($ 3 to $ 3.50), full-size cakes ($ 30 to $ 40), and pies ($ 21 to $ 24). They also serve Argentinian empanadas ($ 3) and a breakfast that includes croissants ($ 4), apple and pecan danishes ($ 3.50), and blueberry, bran and corn muffins (3, $ 50), as well as a crumb cake ($ 3.50) and cinnamon buns ($ 3.50).

At Bark, Vivian R, from Huntington Station, had a wonderful experience.

“I stopped by later in the afternoon and was happy to find beautifully decorated and delicious cupcakes,” she wrote. “I had the carrot cake, the Oreo and the vanilla cupcakes and they were all delicious and definitely worth a visit. It’s definitely a nice new bakery that also serves coffee and tea. They have a counter with chairs in case you want to eat there. I would definitely recommend this place. ”

Location: 1155 E Jericho Turnpike, Huntington, (718) 801-0036.
