Dan Levy’s new cooking show ‘the Big Brunch’ is coming to HBO Max

Here’s a little something you might not have known Schitt Creek co-creator and darling of everyone Dan Levy – he loves to eat; he is a great foodie. And of course, that means the actor will be hosting a cooking series on HBO Max. A series of cooking competitions on a meal almost as popular as Schitt Creek itself – brunch.

HBO Max announced Monday that Levy has been selected to host a new series of cooking competitions titled The big brunch, who Variety Notes is slated to launch in 2022. The series was created by Levy himself and will spotlight unknown culinary talents from across the country who all know how to create their own versions of brunch menus. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner of the series along with a sharing of each chef’s personal stories.

“Everyone has a friend, family member or colleague who is extraordinary at what they do, they just need a helping hand so that their talents can be appreciated on a larger scale,” said Levy said in a statement shared by Variety. “Through an almost obsessive love of food, I’ve been fortunate enough to meet many of these people in the culinary world – friends working in cafes or food trucks, revolutionizing local restaurant menus – these special humans who create communities around their kitchen, hoping to take their skills to the next level. I created this show for them, the local culinary heroes of America who deserve a spotlight. That, and who doesn’t want to watch maple syrup slowly pour over a golden pile of French toast inspired by creme brulee to perfection? “

The search for chefs to compete The big brunch has already started, according to Levy’s recent cast on Twitter, where he asked people to consider leaders in their community “who just need a boost or a big break.” This also includes home chefs, for that matter.

Dan Levy is looking for a great brunch.

This isn’t Levy’s first foray into the world by hosting a competitive cooking series. Levy was the host of The Great Canadian Pastry Show during the first two seasons, although he admits he knows absolutely nothing about baking. It is, however, excellent for eating baked goods. “I’m very good at eating baked goods, yes,” he told CBC in 2017.

He also gave a little hint on what he likes to see on cooking contest shows. “What I find so inspiring about this show is that it’s not about bringing each other down, it’s about people who want each other to be successful because at the end of the day. account, you are not competing with someone else. You are competing against yourself.

If that doesn’t make you wanna watch The big brunch when it premiered on HBO Max, I don’t know what will happen.
