Friends of the Rockland Public Library book and bake sale scheduled for September 10


ROCKLAND – The Friends of the Rockland Public Library book and bake sale returns to the Flanagan Community Center in Rockland on Saturday, September 10. The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with advance purchases for Friends members from 8:30 a.m.

“Choose from thousands of lightly used volumes, all at affordable prices,” Friends said in a press release.

The sale offers everything from contemporary and classic fiction in multiple genres to coffee table tomes and books on dozens of nonfiction topics. Books, audio books, music CDs and films for adults and children are also available for sale. Those interested in special collectible books can stroll up the hill to discover a collection for sale at The Book Stop on the lower level of the Rockland Public Library.

“Plus, the bake sale will tempt anyone looking for homemade treats with a delicious array of baked goods,” Friends said. “Don’t miss our talented bakers’ creations of cookies, cakes, muffins, brownies and other sweet delights.”

The Flanagan Community Center is located at 61 Limerock Street.
