Pearl Webb Hrabousky, 90, died on Thursday, October 28, 2021 with her family by her side at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Pearl was born May 20, 1931 in Bear Creek Township. to his loving parents, Bart and Pearl Fassett Webb. She attended Oliver Elementary School in Bear Creek. She was employed by Central Slipper Shoes until the plant closed and retired from the Woodlands after working for several years in housekeeping.
Pearl liked to work on projects around his house. Her most cherished moments were cooking Wigilia’s Polish Christmas Eve meal for her family of 20. She loved parties and provided them with different candies and baked goods that everyone loved to have.
Pearl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed with love.
Besides her parents and her husband of 67 years, George, who died on April 13, 2015, she was predeceased by all her siblings: sisters, Eleanor, Lucretia, Isabel, Verna, Margaret; and brothers, Jasper and Emmanuel.
Her daughters, Sheran Wozniak and her husband, Joseph, of Bear Creek, survive; Joann Hrabousky and his partner, Marilyn Arnesen, of Ridgefield, Washington; son, George Hrabousky and wife, Sandra, of Margate, Florida; Matthew and his wife, Karen, of Bear Creek; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the nurses at East Mountain Gardens and the nurses and staff at the Geisinger Emergency Room for taking such good care of Pearl. To the doctors, Karla Anderson, James Bruno, Jeffrey DeAndrea and Robert Fiorelli, thank you for your loving and compassionate care towards our mother; you have added years to his life with your professionalism and expertise in your areas of care.
There will be no calling hours.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Christian funeral mass which will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at Ss. Pierre-et-Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains Township. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in western Wyoming.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains Twp., PA, 18705.
Funeral arrangements are the responsibility of Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc, Plains Twp.
