When some people think of bakeries, they normally imagine a Greggs sausage roll or a delicate little pastry shop serving jam donuts and pancakes.
Not in this London restaurant. Comptoir Gourmand, a family-run bakery and café based in Bermondsey, has been hailed as a “hidden gem” and a “must have for a simple breakfast” in south London according to TripAdvisor.
Tucked away on Druid Street, these buns have captured the hearts of Londoners as well as customers across the UK. They apparently sell such “delicious” pastries and buns, but customer service is also the benchmark according to visitors.
