The course will be taught personally by the best baker and pastry chef Sahil Mehta on campus
The Tedco School of Culinary Arts has launched a specially curated ‘French Pastry Masterclass’ with a passion and vision to train future leaders in the baking and pastry industry. The course aims to fill the gaps in the education system which does not provide the fundamental skills demanded by the labor market.
An exclusive and intensive seven-month course will be taught personally by one of India’s best and first certified experts in baking, pastry and chocolate, Chef Sahil Mehta, for over 450 hours at Tedco’s Connaught Place campus . The course will cover theory as well as practical knowledge. At the end of the course, Tedco will give students the opportunity to undergo industrial training in a 5-star hotel or bakery kitchen for a period of three months. Students also have various paid internship opportunities of 3 or 6 months in the world pastry capital, France.
Class size is limited to 10 students per batch so each student can get Sahil’s personal attention and their progress can be monitored with a team of specialist chefs. Starting this month, students will be taken on an adventurous adventure into the world of exquisite flavors and expert cooking techniques. They will learn many aspects of modern cooking, including how to work in a professional kitchen environment with international safety standards.
“Students learn well when they have access to practical training in addition to theory. With this specially organized course, students will be able to learn what cannot be taught in a normal classroom, ”said Rahul Misra, founder of the Tedco School of Culinary Arts.
