Wayne’s new ShopRite store is slated to open this weekend.

The state-of-the-art full-service supermarket, located at 30 Wayne Hills Mall, will open at 7 a.m. on Sunday, October 31.

A groundbreaking ceremony took place on Friday, giving guests a glimpse of the nearly 80,000 square foot supermarket.

The new store will replace Wayne’s ShopRite, located at 625 Hamburg Turnpike. Wayne’s ShopRite will close at 4 p.m. on October 30 and the new Wayne Hills ShopRite will open at 7 a.m. the next morning.

The market will offer a wide assortment of groceries and fresh produce as well as distinctive features of Inserra supermarkets, including the Patsy’s Butcher meat department with skilled butchers; fresh bakery from scratch offering store-made bread, cakes and pastries and a seafood department with daily deliveries.

It will also have a product section with a wide selection of organic and locally grown fruits and vegetables and a floral section.

For the convenience of customers, the store will offer both traditional lanes and self-checkout, as well as the online personal shopping service, ShopRite from Home, which offers in-store pickup and delivery options. residence.
